Adair, Bozeman, Esquire states to the Court that Catey Ramsey, a citizen of Jackson Counhty, has several illegitimate children, amongst them, one said to be a child of Robert Adare, deceased, and acknowledged by him in his lifetime. The said Bozeman Adair being desirous that this child, James Ramsey, be educated as requested by his brother, Robert Adair. Asks to be appointed guardian. 5 May 1806.
