Charlton County Wills and Estates
Charlton County was created in 1854 from a portion of Camden County, Georgia, which also included lands from Ware County. The county was named after Robert Milledge Charlton, a U. S. Senator. A town frequently mentioned in the first will book is "Folkston, Georgia". County seat:Folkston.
