Calhoun County MapCalhoun County was created in 1854 by an Act of the General Assembly. It was taken from Baker and Early Counties. The county was named for South Carolina Senator, John C. Calhoun (1782-1850), a strong supporter of States' Rights. The county seat is Morgan, Georgia.
