Bycroft, Jack married Miss Catlett on last Sunday, Abbeville. The Constitution, Atlanta 1/9/1886

Christian, Jim, widower of 40, and the father of three children, married Miss Lou Pass, aged 16, Lexington. The Constitution, Atlanta 3/7/1886

Dennard, Joseph married Miss Fannie J. Walker, daughter of Dr. V. H. Walker, Abbeville. The Constitution, Atlanta 12/23/1886

Parks, Aron to Ann Baldwin. Oglethorpe Co. Deed Book D, page 88. 24 February 1801. Moses Jones of Lincoln Co. to William Baldwin, Ann Parks, late Ann Baldwin, now wife of Aaron Parks, Ephraim Baldwin and Owen Baldwin of Columbia Co. for $200, 200 acres formerly in Wilkes now in Oglethorpe Co. on Beaverdam Creek, part of tract where Joshua Glass now lives, surveyed for Moses Jones.

Porter, Nathaniel to Mrs. Elizabeth Kinebrew. Oglethorpe Co. Deed Book D, page 449. Articles of Agreement: Mrs. Elizabeth Kinebrew, widow, and Nathaniel Porter. Elizabeth agrees to marry Nathaniel Porter on condition that after marriage she have it completely in her power to dispose by will or otherwise all her real and personal property. Her real property is 246 acres in Oglethorpe Co. on Sills Fork of Little River. Also negroes: a man named Blackman, a man named Kitt, a boy named Tom, a young woman named Dinah, an old woman named Margery and all future increase. Nathaniel agrees to provide Elizabeth the right to dispose of her property.....He will add his stock for their ordinary support and the tract of all real property except a small part that Nathaniel has given to his son, John Porter. Also Negroes: a man named Charles, a man named Adam, a woman named Nancy and a man named Jack...."

Stewart, John to Mourning Floyd. Oglethorpe Co. Deed Book E, page 22. John Stewart of Oglethorpe Co. appoint my trusty friend, George R. C. Floyd as my true and lawful attorney to sell land I may hold in Kentucky by virtue of my marriage with Mourning Floyd, an heir of John Floyd, deceased. 11 March 1806.
