Brazleton, Mr. of Knoxville to Miss Lilly Anderson of Dalton. "Wedding Party Poisoned. Dalton had a wedding last week and...after eating supper, some fifty persons, ladies and gentlemen, and the colored cook, were suffering with burning stomachache and general prostration, evidently poisoned. The poison was traced to custards, flavored with the oil of almonds....Mrs. Boring, a white lady, and Susan Wilson, daughter of the colored book, have died. The Marietta Journal. 10/8/1875.

Martin, William W. "Several months ago William H. Martin, who, it was stated owned a farm in Cobbocounty, married his trained nurse in Atlanta. He was eighty-two years old and his daughters thought he ought to have known better. They started habeas corpus proceedings and have finally gotten possession of their father again.
