Thomas Norris Home
of Morgan County



rogersMadison, Georgia. This house is situated in Madison, Georgia and was first purchased by Thomas Norris in 1817 where he lived with with his wife and nine children. However, he died the following year. In 1873, significent changes were made by Martin L. Richter when he replaced the old beaded weatherboards with unbeaded ones and removed the west wall of the parlor, adding front and rear porches and picket posts. It was later owned by Reuben Rogers.
