Woodall of Talbot County

 

Robert Woodall was born 1824 in Georgia, and was deceased before 1880. He married

Cornelia, born 1830 in Georgia, farmer. Her husband was deceased by 1880, and she lived with her two sons in Talbot County, viz: Henry Woodall, born 1857 and Seaborn, born 1861. Issue:[1]

 

I.     William Woodall, born 1849 in Talbot County.

 

II.    Lucy Woodall, born 1852 in Talbot County.

 

III.   James Woodall, born 1854 in Talbot County.

 

IV.   Fletcher Woodall, born 1855 in Talbot County.

 

V.    Henry Woodall, born 1857 in Talbot County, married 13 January 1881, Ida Rachel Pye (born 20 July 1858 in Talbot County, died 15 September 1927 in Talbot County, a daughter of John Pye and his wife, Sarah Ann (Chambliss) Pye. SEE Chambliss and Pye. Issue:

 

A.  Sallie Cornelia Woodall, born 7 July 1884 Woodland, Talbot County, Georgia, died 29 January 1967.

 

B.  John Henry Woodall, born 4 April 1886 Woodland, Talbot County, Georgia, died 25 August 1965, buried in the Woodland Cemetery  in Talbot County, married on 18 May 1910, Berta Mae Matthews. Issue:

 

1.   Dorothy Rachel Woodall, born 10 October 1912 in Talbot County, married Robert Henry Wilson on 12 September 1914.

 

2.   John Henry Woodall, born 22 October 1917 Talbot County, married (1) Catherine Gay on 5 September 1940, and (2) Elizabeth Harmon on 28 December 1948. Issue:

 

1.        Larry Craig Woodall, born 12 March 1943.

 

b.     Charles Alvin Woodall, born 10 October 1945.
