        1.  Benjamin or Hugh1 Wilson was born in Ireland. 

 

       He married Charlotte in Ireland.  Charlotte was born in County Downs, Ireland February 12, 1785.  Charlotte died February 12, 1865 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, at 80 years of age.  Her body was interred February 1865 in Gainesville Hall Co, GA, Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

       Benjamin or Hugh Wilson and Charlotte had the following children:

 

    +         2         i. Jane2 Wilson was born ca1806.

             3        ii. Robert Wilson was born in Antrim Co, Ireland ca1807.  Robert died 1852 in At Sea, at 45 years of age.

    +         4       iii. Thomas "Tom" Wilson was born 1810.

    +         5       iv. William Robert Wilson was born 1819.

       2.  Jane2 Wilson (Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Ireland ca1806. 

 

       She married Robert Eden in Belfast, Antrim, Ireland, April 4, 1831.

 

       Jane Wilson and Robert Eden had the following children:

 

             7         i. William3 Eden.

             8        ii. Mary Jane Eden.

             9       iii. Henry Eden.

    +       10       iv. John Wilson Eden was born February 7, 1832.

  

       4.  Thomas "Tom"2 Wilson (Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Antrim, Ireland 1810.  Thomas died aft.1880. 

 

       He married Grace Shaw in Knockbreda, Belfast, Antrim, Ireland, November 20, 1831.  Grace was born in Ireland ca1810.  Grace died bef. 1880 in Hall Co, GA.

 

       Thomas "Tom" Wilson and Grace Shaw had the following children:

 

    +       11         i. John Thomas3 Wilson was born August 1832 or 1827.

    +       12        ii. Eliza Jane Wilson was born January 1834.

    +       13       iii. William T. B. Wilson was born ca1854.

  

       5.  William Robert2 Wilson (Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Antrim Co, Ireland 1819.  William died May 24, 1889 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, at 69 years of age.  His body was interred May 1889 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. 

 

       He married Elizabeth Margaret "Eliza" "Lizzie" Turner in Barony parish, Glascow, Lanark, Scotland, June 16, 1849.  Elizabeth was born in Inveresek, Musselburgh, Midlothian, Glasgow, Scotland May 21, 1828.  Elizabeth was the daughter of William Turner (Col.) and Elizabeth Brodie.  Elizabeth died February 16, 1899 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, at 70 years of age.  Her body was interred February 1899 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

       William Robert Wilson and Elizabeth Margaret "Eliza" "Lizzie" Turner had the following children:

 

    +       14         i. Margaret "Maggie"3 Wilson was born May 8 or October 1, 1849.

           15        ii. Jane Wilson was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA 1851?.  She married George W. Brooks in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, March 20, 1871.

    +       16       iii. Agnes A. Wilson was born 1855.

           17       iv. John D. Wilson was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA 1858.  John died 1863? in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, at 5 years of age.

    +       18        v. William James "Willie" Wilson was born April 14, 1859.

    +       19       vi. Robert Bartow "Bart" Wilson was born July 15, 1861.

    +       20      vii. John Thomas "Tex" Wilson was born June 15, 1863.

    +       21     viii. Benjamin W. Wilson was born June 20, 1869.

  

       6.  Benjamin J.2 Wilson (Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Ireland ca1827. 

 

       He married Elizabeth P. Hill in Coweta Co, GA, November 20, 1858.

 

       Benjamin J. Wilson and Elizabeth P. Hill had the following children:

       10.  John Wilson3 Eden (Jane2 Wilson, Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Antrim Co, Ireland February 7, 1832.  John died November 28, 1903 at 71 years of age.  His body was interred December 1903 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, Hopewell Baptist Cemetery. 

 

       He married Alsey Luavina Tanner May 4, 1862.

 

       John Wilson Eden and Alsey Luavina Tanner had the following children:

 

           26         i. Robert D.4 Eden was born in Hall Co, GA December 18, 1864.  Robert died December 17, 1917 at 52 years of age.  He married Fannie Randolph in Hall Co, GA, April 4, 1886.  Fannie died December 1940.

           27        ii. Jane June Eden was born in Hall Co, GA November 8, 1868.  She married Thomas Haynes December 28, 1886.

    +       28       iii. John Wilson Eden (Jr.) was born September 7, 1870.

    +       29       iv. William Edward Eden was born November 27, 1871.

           30        v. Dria Eden was born December 16, 1873.

           31       vi. James F. Eden was born March 10, 1874.

           32      vii. Thomas George Eden was born in Hall Co, GA January 1, 1876.  Thomas died January 19, 1906 at 30 years of age.  He married Teba.

           33     viii. Ida Eden was born in Hall Co, GA February 14, 1882.  She married James Allen in Hall Co, GA, December 28, 1899.

           34       ix. Pearl Eden was born in Hall Co, GA March 20, 1884.  She married Claude Hendrix.

           35        x. Jessie Henry Eden was born November 15, 1888.

  

       11.  John Thomas3 Wilson (Thomas "Tom"2, Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Antrim Co, Ireland August 1832 or 1827. 

 

       He married Naomi Gilmer in Green Co, GA, March 7, 1852.  Naomi was born in Hall Co, GA.

 

       John Thomas Wilson and Naomi Gilmer had the following children:

 

           36         i. Joseph B.4 Wilson was born 1857.

           37        ii. John Thomas Wilson (Jr.) was born 1859.

           38       iii. Edward B. Wilson was born in Hall Co, GA 1863.

  

       12.  Eliza Jane3 Wilson (Thomas "Tom"2, Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Antrim Co, Ireland January 1834. 

 

       She married Joseph "Joey" "Joy" Spence in Ireland, ca1850.  Joseph was born in Ireland ca1832.  Joseph was the son of  Spence.

 

       Eliza Jane Wilson and Joseph "Joey" "Joy" Spence had the following children:

 

           39         i. Mary Jane4 Spence was born 1852.

           40        ii. Grace A. Spence was born in Hall Co, GA 1855.  She married Royal E. Chapman in Hall Co, GA, December 10, 1876.

           41       iii. James Wilson Spence was born in Hall Co, GA November 1856.  He married Rosa Ward in Hall Co, GA, May 15, 1887.

           42       iv. William Henry Spence was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA 1860.  William died October 6, 1888 at 28 years of age.  He married Alena C. Owen in Hall Co, GA, July 24, 1878.

           43        v. Eliza Jane Spence was born in Hall Co, GA ca1861.

           44       vi. Margaret "Maggie" Spence was born in Hall Co, GA ca1864.

           45      vii. Charlotte Spence was born in Hall Co, GA ca1866.

           46     viii. Ellen Spence was born in Hall Co, GA ca1868.

           47       ix. Robert Edwin Spence was born in Hall Co, GA August 3, 1871.  Robert died January 24, 1918 at 46 years of age.  He married Jessie Davis in Hall Co, GA, December 6, 1897.

  

       13.  William T. B.3 Wilson (Thomas "Tom"2, Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Hall Co, GA ca1854. 

 

       He married Masina A. Smith February 8, 1872.  Masina was born in Hall Co, GA ca1856.

 

       William T. B. Wilson and Masina A. Smith had the following children:

 

           48         i. William T.4 Wilson (Jr.) was born in Hall Co, GA ca1873.

           49        ii. Ella Wilson was born in Hall Co, GA ca1875.

           50       iii. Annie Wilson was born in Hall Co, GA ca1878.

  

       14.  Margaret "Maggie"3 Wilson (William Robert2, Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Glasgow, Scotland May 8 or October 1, 1849.  Margaret died April 16, 1923 in Colfax Co, LA, at 73 years of age. 

 

       She married Joshua Sylvestus Simmons in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, August 18, 1869.  Joshua was born in NC December 22, 1838.  Joshua was the son of Moses Simmons and Mary Lewis.  Joshua died October 24, 1917 in Ty, Tift Co, GA, at 78 years of age.

 

       Margaret "Maggie" Wilson and Joshua Sylvestus Simmons had the following children:

 

           51         i. William Romie Robert4 Simmons was born August 15, 1870.  William died November 11, 1890 at 20 years of age.  He married Minnie D. Chandler.

           52        ii. Mary Elizabeth Simmons was born April 19, 1873.  Mary died April 1953 in Atlanta, GA, at 79 years of age.  She married Charles Edgecomb November 7, 1894.

           53       iii. James Otis Simmons was born March 31, 1876.  James died April 20, 1886 at 10 years of age.

           54       iv. Lenora Odessa Simmons was born in Forsythe Co, GA May 31, 1878.  Lenora died February 7, 1962 in Dallas, TX, at 83 years of age.  She married twice.  She married Van Buren Eaton.  She married Walter Pinkey Martin.

           55        v. Benjamin Sylvanus Simmons was born in Forsythe Co, GA June 21, 1884.  Benjamin died May 20, 1903 at 18 years of age.  He married Eula Johnson.

    +       56       vi. Agnes Helena Simmons was born September 3, 1889.

           57      vii. Bernice Margaret Simmons was born in Meridan, Miss. May 10, 1902.  Bernice died February 6, 1990 in Islamadia, FL, at 87 years of age.  She married Leslie Lancefield Prime September 12, 1925.

  

       16.  Agnes A.3 Wilson (William Robert2, Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Hancock Co, GA 1855. 

 

       She married John Green Stringer in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, May 9, 1875.  John was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA 1859.  John was the son of Daniel Stringer and Emily.

 

       Agnes A. Wilson and John Green Stringer had the following child:

 

    +       58         i. Dart4 Stringer was born March 3, 1878.

  

       18.  William James "Willie"3 Wilson (William Robert2, Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA April 14, 1859.  William died November 5, 1921 in Valley View, Cooke Co, TX, at 62 years of age.  His body was interred November 6, 1921 in Valley View, Cooke Co, TX, Valley View Cemetery. 

 

       He married Martha Averilla "Rilla" Howington in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, December 7, 1879.  Martha was born November 10, 1858.  Martha was the daughter of Wilson Howington and Nancy Emma Bennett.  Martha died February 12, 1931 at 72 years of age.  Her body was interred February 13, 1931 in Valley View, Cooke Co, TX, Masonic Cemetery.

 

       William James "Willie" Wilson and Martha Averilla "Rilla" Howington had the following children:

 

           59         i. Edward C.4 Wilson was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA March 3, 1881.  Edward died September 14, 1899 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, at 18 years of age.  His body was interred September 1899 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

    +       60        ii. John Benjamin Wilson was born March 13, 1883.

           61       iii. William Robert Wilson was born October 1, 1884.  William died July 7, 1885 at less than one year of age.

    +       62       iv. Thomas L. "Tom" Wilson was born April 10, 1886.

           63        v. Deward Wilson was born March 14, 1889.  Deward died March 24, 1889 at less than one year of age.

    +       64       vi. Charlotte "Lottie" Wilson was born March 17, 1891.

           65      vii. Val Wilson was born February 14, 1893.  Val died August 14, 1894 at 1 year of age.

    +       66     viii. Lillie Wilson was born March 23, 1898.

  

       19.  Robert Bartow "Bart"3 Wilson (William Robert2, Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA July 15, 1861.  Robert died December 19, 1920 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, at 59 years of age.  His body was interred December 1929 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. 

 

       He married Mary Sarilla Leckie in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, October 29, 1882.  Mary was born in Hall Co, GA April 6, 1860.  Mary was the daughter of John F. Leckie and Lucy Sarah Ann Boleman.  Mary died November 26, 1944 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, at 84 years of age.  Her body was interred November 1944 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

       Robert Bartow "Bart" Wilson and Mary Sarilla Leckie had the following children:

 

    +       67         i. Vera Charlotte4 Wilson was born September 17, 1883.

           68        ii. Robert Ola Wilson was born February 23, 1886.  Robert died March 7, 1902 at 16 years of age.  His body was interred March 1902 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

    +       69       iii. Sarah Elizabeth "Sallie" Wilson was born June 13, 1889.

           70       iv. John William "Willie" Wilson was born June 13, 1889.  John died June 14, 1889 at less than one year of age.  His body was interred June 1889 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

       20.  John Thomas "Tex"3 Wilson (William Robert2, Benjamin or Hugh1) was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA June 15, 1863.  John died November 16, 1925 in Cooke Co, TX, at 62 years of age. 

 

       He married Carrie Prater in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, December 8, 1889.  Carrie was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA March 1868.  Carrie was the daughter of Josiah Prater and Josephine Reed.  Carrie died in Cooke Co, TX.

 

       John Thomas "Tex" Wilson and Carrie Prater had the following children:

 

           71         i. Mintie4 Wilson was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA 1891.

           72        ii. Mary Odessa Wilson was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA January 17, 1893.  Mary died January 13, 1901 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, at 7 years of age.  Her body was interred January 1901 in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA, Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

           73       iii. Darla "Dart" Wilson was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA 1895.

           74       iv. William James "Willie" Wilson was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA 1896.

           75        v. Ernest A. Wilson was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA 1898.

           76       vi. Eunice Wilson was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA 1900.

           77      vii. Porter H. Wilson was born in Gainesville, Hall Co, GA 1902.

    +       78     viii. Robert Lee Wilson was born February 17, 1904.

           79       ix. Johnny Thomas "Johnny" Wilson (Jr.) was born in Cooke Co, TX 1906.

           80        x. Benjamin Wilson was born in Cooke Co, TX December 1908.

  

       21.  Benjamin W.3 Wilson (William Robert2, Benjamin or Hugh1) was born Gainesville, Hall Co, Ga June 20, 1869.  Benjamin died January 15, 1933 Tehachapi, Kern Co, Ca., at 63 years of age.  His body was interred January 19, 1933 in Tehachapi, Kern Co, CA, Tehachapi Cemetery East. 

 

       He married Beatrice Armitta "Mittie" Saylors in Gainesville, Hall Co, Georgia, February 8, 1896.  Beatrice was born Hall Co, Georgia February 9, 1881.  Beatrice was the daughter of John B. Saylors and Parentha A. Simpson.  She married Henry Barksdale.  Beatrice died January 4, 1959 Mountain View, Santa Clara, Ca., at 77 years of age.  Her body was interred January 6, 1959 in Palo Alto, Santa Clara Co, Ca., Alta Mesa Memorial Park.

 

       Benjamin W. Wilson and Beatrice Armitta "Mittie" Saylors had the following children:

 

    +       81         i. Hugh Phillip4 Wilson was born March 13, 1898.

    +       82        ii. Robert Lawrence Wilson was born March 12, 1903.
