WHEELESS of Meriwether County
Abner Wheeless was born in 1769, died 1849, aged 80. He came from North Carolina to Meriwether County, where he died. He married Nancy, the daughter of William Kimbrough (LWT dated 24 April 1803 Greene County) which named his son-in-law, Abner Wheeless, and his daughter, Nancy). Issue:
- Sarah Wheeless, born 1805 in North Carolina.
- Thomas K. Wheeless, born 1811, probably in Greene County, married Lucinda Wyatt (born 1815 in Georgia) on 23 December 1830 in Meriwether County. Issue:
- William Wheeless was born 1832 Georgia.
- Abner Wheeless was born 1834 Georgia.
- Tabitha Wheeless was born 1835 Georgia.
- Thomas Wheeless was born 1837 Georgia.
- Nancy Wheeless was born 1839 Georgia.
- Amanda Wheeless was born 1840 Georgia.
- Phillip Wheeless was born 1843 Georgia.
- Sarah Wheeless was born 1845 Georgia.
- Mary E. Wheeless was born 1847 Georgia.
- Abner D. Wheeless, born 1805 in Greene County married Margaret Gray (born 1816) from South Carolina on 12 July 1835 in Meriwether County.
- Sarah A. Wheeless, born 1834 Georgia.
- Elizabeth Wheeless, born 1836 Georgia.
- Thomas Wheeless, born 1838 Georgia.
- William Wheeless, born 1840 Georgia.
