Edward Loyd Thomas, Reverend, was born 1785 in Virginia, died 1852, buried in Lot No. 169 of Carmel Church Cemetery in Newton County. His LWT dated 7 March 1851 in Newton County Will Book A, page 35. Wife, Mary was born 1784 in Georgia. Listed on the 1820 Clarke County Census with 4 sons and 2 daughters; listed on the 1850 Newton County Census. Issue:[1]

Lovick Pierce Thomas, born 1812 in Franklin County, Georgia, died 25 May 1878, buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta. He married Martha Ann Fullwood Bedell on 6 May 1834 in Clarke County. Martha was born 1808, died 16 February 1869, buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta. Issue:

A. Lovick Pierce . Thomas, born 1835 in Georgia, died 2 May 1910, buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta. He was a hotel keeper in Clarke County in 1850. Wife, Martha. Issue:
