THOMAS P. STUBBS, member of Ga. State Senate 1857-1858; attorney in Macon. Member of lawfirm, Carswell & Stubbs. He homesteaded 87 acres in Rutland District of Bibb Co. on the Ocmulgee River, adj. lands of Mrs. Ann Stubbs and Mrs. Ellen M. Stubbs, in Dec. 1873. When he homesteaded, his application mentioned 20 hogs, 2 mules, 300 bushels of corn, 2500 lbs. of fodder and hay, 20 head of cattle and a cane mill.
