MILLINGTON SMITH



Millington Smith was listed on 1830 Bulloch County, Georgia Census, died 1836 Tattnall County, Georgia, naming his wife, Dicey, and heirs. Will of John Parish 8/23/1819 Warren Co., named his daughter, Dicey Smith. Page 72, Tattnall County Estates, "received of Nicey Smith, administratrix of Millington Smith and guardian of the minor heirs, $800 as my share of estate in full. James Smith 6/19/1847. Same receipt from William Brannon, dated 3/18/1848."

The Will of Simon Smith recorded 5/2/1882 Tattnall County, Ga. names wife, Lavinah and sons, David B., Millington and William (Tattnall Co. Estates, Book B, Page 79-811. Issue:

NICHOLAS SMITH


Nicholas Smith was born in Rhode Island 3/11/1787, married Urania Oborn, born 7/23/1798, came to Georgia about 1832. They had eight children, five of whom were alive in 1880, according to book, Memoirs of Georgia. Children:
