John Wilson Rockwell was born 21 Mar 1766 in Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut and died 13 Dec 1826 in Albany, New York. He was married 1787 in ALbany to Mary Brewster. Issue:

• Colonel Samuel Rockwell, born 14 Sep 1788 in Greenbush, Rensselaer County, New York, died 4 Aug 1841 in Milledgeville, Baldwin County, Georgia where he owned a large number of slaves and built a beautiful home overlooking Allen Memorial Drive in Milledgeville. He served as an attorney-general and adjutant-general in the Georgia Militia.
