David Power married (2) Margaret Hopkins (born 1798 Georgia) on 11 May 1828 in Madison County. His LWT dated 17 June 1840, probated 21 September 1840 in Madison County, named wife, Margaret, and children. Also, grandchildren, Susan M. and George W. Power (the latter established William Power as his son). Issue:
Another family, James Power, his LWT dated 23 October 1838, probated 12 January 1839 in Madison County. Issue:
Another Family, Francis Power of Elbert County made his LWT dated 20 November 1793, probated on 3 August 1818 in Madison County. Wife, Elizabeth.

Deed Book B, page 51. 3 November 1792. Francis Powers and his wife, Elizabeth, deed to Briger Haynie, all of Elbert County, for 60 pounds, 220 acres on Fork Creek, surveyed on 8 June 1785.

Book C, page 137. 10 April 1791. Francis Powers and his wife, Elizabeth, deed to Samuel Long of Elbert County, for 50 pounds, 220 acres on Fork Creek on the Broad River, granted to said Powers on 14 August 1786.
