Daniel Orr was born 1810 in Georgia; listed on the 1860 Hall County Census, a farmer at Flowery Branch. Wife, Demarius, born 1815 Georgia. Daniel Orr deeded to George N. Lester and H. P. Bell of Hall County on 2 March 1866, land in the 8th District of Hall County, being Lot 128, 184 acres (Hall County Deed Book I, pp. 629-630). Also, Daniel Orr deeded to William Orr on 5 October 1866 in Hall County, landing the 8th District of Hall County, Lot 21, 250 acres (Hall County Deed Book I, page 687). Also, on 20 February 1888, Daniel Orr of Hall County deeded to William Orr of Dawson County, 100 acres in the 11th District of Hall County (Hall County Deed Book S, page 500).

Again, Daniel Orr and his wife, Mary, deed to L. B. Hutchins on 8 April 1881, land in the 8th District of Hall County, Lot 128, 20 acres. (Hall County Deed Book N, pp. 393-394).
