Noel of Gwinnett County
Captain Azariah Noel was born 1/5/1804 in Caswell County, North Carolina.[1] He died 4/3/1877 in Gwinnett County, buried in the Fairview Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lawrenceville. Azariah was a ruling elder in the church. He was married on 11/18/1828 to Elizabeth Saye (11/10/1811-3/17/1884), a daughter of Ruling Elder Richard Saye, Jr. and his wife Margaret (Gardiner) Saye.
