Luke John Morgan, Sr., son of Thomas Morgan, left is LWT in Wilkes Co., Ga. Dated 6/13/1781. He m. Mary. He and his son, William, fought in the Battle of Kettle Creek in Wilkes Co., Ga. As Revolutionary War Soldiers as per the Cert. of Elijah Clark dated 3/3/1784. Issue:
  1. William Morgan b. 1819 Ga. m. 5/16/1844 in Stewart Co., Ga., Elizabeth Harrell (b. 1824 Ga.) Listed on 1850 Stewart Co., Ga. Census. And had issue:
    1. James Morgan b. 1845 Stewart Co., Ga.
    2. Nancy Morgan b. 1847 Stewart Co., Ga.
    3. William Solomon Morgan b. 1850 Stewart Co., Ga. m. Nannie Sheppard b. 1852 Webster Co., Ga. And had issue: Franklin E. Morgan of Terrell Co., Ga.
