Moore of Gwinnett County

Thompson Moore was b. 1771 Va., wife, Nancy, b. 1772 S. C., listed on 1850 Gwinnett Co. Census. Thompson Moore moved from Edgefield Co., S. C., Crocket Creek, in 1802 when he purchased land from Phillip Viney in Franklin Co., Ga. He removed to Gwinnett Co. before 1830. Issue follows:

Wyatt Seiser Moore, b. 7/26/1835 Gwinnett Co., Ga., d. 2/14/1929 m. 1st Elizabeth Brogdon in 1858, b. 1/19/1838, d. 5/28/1881, daughter of Hope Jackson and Emily Bogan Brogden; and m. 2d Ella Jane Whitehead, b. 1845, d. 1900, and m. 3rd Rachel Elizabeth King, b. 1856, d. 1925, all bur. at Level Creek Methodist Church cemetery. George Moore m. 8/7/1806 Jackson Co., Ga., Drusilla Awtrey, dau. of Absalom Awtrey and Mary Lucy from Lincoln Co., N. C. George Moore d. 2/19/1843 Gwinnett Co., Ga. David Moore was gtd L/A est. of Jacob Autrey, decd, Gwinnett Co. Inf. Ct. 11/3/1832, P. 53.

Rev. George Thompson Moore buried in Level Creek Cemetery at Suwanee, in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
