Middlebrooks of Harris County

Isaac Middlebrooks and his wife, Jennie, were natives of South Carolina and settled in Clarke County, Georgia. He was a soldier of the War of 1812. Issue: Isaac Middlebrooks was born 1797 in South Carolina, farmer. He married Elizabeth Thompson. In 1829 he removed to Harris County where he died in 1864. Issue:

• John A. Middlebrooks, born 1818 in Clarke County Georgia. He married (1) in 1837 Nancy Hall (born Harris County in 1822), the daughter of Thomas and Martha (Manning) Hall. Nancy was born 1833 and died in 1852. He married (2) Martha C. Jenkins, in 1854 (born 1834 Harris County), the daughter of William and Jane Jenkins from North Carolina to Georgia. He married (3) in 1880, Mary Huff.
