Wife, Fransinah Anderson, born 22 June 1714 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, died 27 August 1796 in Trenton, Hunterdon, New Jersey. Issue: Catherine, Timothy, Cornelius, Benjamin Andrew, Sarah, Rebecca, Abraham, Nathaniel, Henry and Hannah.

Henry Mershon was born 27 January 1734 in Hopewell, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, died 5 November 1814 in Maidenhead, Somerset County, New Jersey. He married in 1758, Mercy Burrowes (born 22 June 1737, died 1785 in New Jersey), a daughter of Stephen Burroughs and his wife, Mary (Moore) Burroughs. Issue:

• Joab Mershon, born 22 August 1764 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, died June 1839 in New York.
• Enos Mershon, born 16 April 1766 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, died 1814 in Hancock County, Georgia. He married Jemima Merrell 1795 in Hancock County. She was born 1775 in Rowan County, North Carolina, died 1872 in Macon, Bibb County and was a daughter of John Merrell and his wife, Mary Catherine (Wiseman) Merrell. Issue:
