McMichael of Crawford, Greene, Jasper, Marion and Stewart Counties

James McMichael was born ca 1781 and died before 1818 in Jasper County. Wife, Margaret, born 20 July 1787 in Greene County, died 22 February 1856 in Greene County. Issue:

• Adaline McMichael.
• Elizabeth McMichael
• Seaborn McMichael, born 8 April 1805, died 20 March 1867 at Buena Vista, Marion County, buried in the City Cemetery. He was married to Elizabeth Riley on 27 February 1824 in Greene County.
• John McMichael, born 25 June 1808 in Putnam County, died 16 November 1873, buried in the Buena Vista Cemetery in Marion County. He was married to Mary Jane Howe 17 July 1829 in Crawford County.
• Reuben McMichael, born 25 June 1808 in Putnam County, died 16 November 1873, buried in the Buena Vista Cemetery in Marion County. He was married to Margaret Sanders on 7 February 1832 in Crawford County. They later resided in Stewart County where Margaret died on 9 August 1851. He married (2) on 2 September 1852 in Stewart County, Emily Prather and removed to Morehouse Parish, Louisiana where he died near Bastrop on 18 November 1860. Issue:[1]
