Malone of North Carolina, Fayette, Henry Jasper & Wilkes County
George Malone, the son of Isham Malone of Granville County, North Carolina, was born ca 1760, died 1818 in Jasper County, Georgia. He was listed on the 1790 Caswell County, North Carolina Census; removed to Wilkes County. He drew in the 1803 Wilkes County Land Lottery, 2 draws; also in the 1805 lottery from Wilkes County. On 9 April 1807, he was one of the testators to the LWT of Joshua Arnold of Wilkes County (probated 1 June 1807). George Malone and Nathan Blackbourn were administrators of the Estate of John Russell, deceased, in Wilkes County on 22 April 1808. The Petition of Georgia Malone, Samuel Hazlewood, Pleasant and Nathaniel Wilkinson, Vincent Harrison and Joseph Johnson, legatees of John Wilkinson, for the division of the estate, Wilkes County Inferior Court Minutes 1811-1817.
George Malone was probably married to Martha Wilkinson, or a daughter of Benjamin Sherrod. In his estate, a minor daughter, Nancy, was named, with Martha Malone being appointed as guardian. Issue:
- Christopher Malone, born 1770/1780, died in Henry County in 1837. He married Elizabeth Chaffin on 14 January 1811 in Wilkes County, Georgia. The administration of his estate occurred in Henry County in 1838. Issue:[1]
- Stephen Malone, born 1815/1820, listed on the 1840 Henry County Census; served in the House of Representatives from Henry County 1831-1814; and was Captain of the Militia District in 1838.
- William Malone, born 29 April 1820, died 7 November 1897, buried at the Woolsey Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayette County. He married Jane Gay on 21 December 1845 in Fayette County. He was appointed the guardian of the minor children of William W. Bishop, deceased, in Henry County on 2 September 1850.

- Francis Malone, born ca 1780/1790, died 1841 in Jasper County, married Martha Chaffin on 5 January 1802 in Wilkes County; listed on the 1840 Jasper County Census. The division of his estate, Bond dated 23 November 1841 in Jasper County (division of 1842, Book 13, page 305-6) named Mrs. Patsy Malone as guardian for William, John, Jarrell, Cader, Floyd, Franklin, Isham and Jeptha.
