• Thomas Leverett was born ca 1755, died 8 June 1834 in Troup Co., Georgia. He was a Revolutionary War Soldier, serving on the Continental Line, Georgia. He made a pension #W4264, which included a bible record. Also, his wife later applied for the pension, Mrs. Mary Leverett. He married Mary G. Griffin on 3 Jul 1789 in Wilkes Co.She was born 25 Mar 1722, died Feb 1850 in Chambers Co., Alabama, and was the daughter of John Griffin and Elizabeth Ray. Elizabeth G. Leverett, widow of Thomas Leverett, Sr., sold land to Gideon Leverett, being in Land Lot 195 in the 5th District, Troup County, Georgia on 1 January 1840. Her LWT dated 25 August 1848, Chambers County, Alabama. Issue:
