Laremon
Edward Laremon, born 1746, removed his family from Cumberland County, North Carolina to Edgefield County, South Carolina. His LWT was dated 3/26/1785, probated 1/14/1788 naming, wife, Martha and Daniel "my youngest son", and daughters, Hester and Sarah Laremon.
Edgefield County Deed Book 1, pp. 182-183. 2/27/1789. Samuel Messer, blacksmith, of Edgefield County is held bound by a bond of 200 pounds to Martha Laremon and Daniel Laremon concerning 100 acres in Cumberland County, North Carolina "land which we the said Martha and Daniel Laremon have sold to Samuel Messer. The above obligation is such that Samuel Messer is to stand all law suits he shall commence with all persons for the recovery of said land excepting and title made and delivered by my husband and my father, Edward Laremon, deceased, which I, the said Martha and Daniel Laremon, will warrant and defend unto said Samuel Messer."
Edgefield Deed Book 3, pp. 80-81. 4/16/1789. Martha Laremon to my loving daughter, Sarah Laremon, for love and affection, give and grant my cattle, hogs, horses and household stuff, all my property which was left to me by the Last Will and Testament of my husband, Edward Laremon, deceased, 3/24/1785, except those articles as bequeathed by said will to my son, Daniel Laremon. Issue:

- Sarah Laremon, born 10/22/1772, died ca 1850 in Wayne County, Mississippi, buried at Eucutta Creek.
- Daniel Laremon, born ca 1774.
