Hodge



Archibald Hodge married Milly Bell on 12 February 1800 in Oglethorpe County. He died ca 1801. Oglethorpe Co. Guardian and Administrators Bonds, Estate ofArchibald Hodge, page 40, 24 January 1801. Alexander Hodge, ALexander McClay, Isham Smith, David Cresswell and Woody Jackson give bond in the amount of $3,000 upon the condition that Alexander Hodge and Alexander McClay, administrators of the estate of Archibald Hodge, make an inventory of the estate.

Deed Book D, page 273. 19 April 1802. William Hodge, legatee of Archibald Hodge, deceased, both of said county,believing that the tract where Archibald Hodge, Junior now lives to be the property of Archibald Hodge, Junior, put up no claim or title to the land.

Deed Book D, page 273. John Hodge, legatee of Archibald Hodge, deceased, late of said county, believing that thetract where Archibald Hodge, Junior now lives to be the property of Archibald Hodge, Junior, do relinquish to Archibald Hodge all claim, right and title to said land.
