Hitchcock of Paulding County

Jesse Hitchcock was born 10 July 1822 in Georgia, died 1 May 1910. He married Sara Ann Adair, born 19 May 1825 in Madison County, died 26 December 1886 Paulding County, the daughter of Whitmill A. Adair (born 1794) and his wife, Sarah Sorrells (born 1801). Issue:

• Mary E. Hitchcock, born 1848 Paulding County. She was married to J. D. Craton on 31 March 1870 in Paulding County.
• Sarah E. Hitchcock, born 1851 Paulding County.
• James Overton Hitchcock, born 1859 Paulding County married Frances Pace on 19 December 1875 in Paulding County.
• William Hitchcock, born 1866 Paulding County.

Another family, John Hitchcock was born 1805 in Georgia, farmer. He married Mary Roberts (born 1817 South Carolina)on 4 September 1845 in Paulding County. Issue:
