Graybill of Washington County
John Graybill migrated from Pennsylvania to Georgia, settling in Hancock County; in 1849, he removed to Texas.
Tully Graybill, son of John (above), was the only member of the family who remained in Georgia. He was a graduate of medicine in Lexington, Kentucky, afterwards locating near the Oconee River in Washington County where he practiced medicine. He was married in Washington County to Annabella Tucker on 3/24/1846. He died October 1883. Issue:[1]
- Leon Graybill, son of Tully Graybill (above), physician, was born 3/10/1853 in Washington County. He was married in Washington County in 1882 to Mary, a daughter of M. G. Wood, Sr. and by her had five children, viz: Anna Lou, Nina, Mary, Leon A. and Laura Graybill.
- Mary Graybill who married V. S. Joyner of Sandersville.
- Emma Graybill who married Dr. J. S. Wood of Irwinton.
- Laura Graybill who married Robert J. Moye of Harrison, Georgia.
