Jacob Futch is the first known of the family to come to America. He was born 1685 in Germany, and died before 1747 in Craven County, North Carolina. Wife, Margaratha. Issue:

- Solomon Futch, died 21 July 1836 in Bulloch County, Georgia. Wife, Elizabeth. Issue:
- John Futch, born 1795 in Bulloch County, Georgia, died 1868 in Statesboro.
- Isaac Futch, born 1796, died 1804 in Bulloch County.
- Thomas Futch, born 20 February 1799 in Bulloch County, died 1865 in Berrien County.
- Elizabeth Futch, born 1800 in Bulloch County.
- Jacob Futch, born 11 February 1801 in Bulloch County, died after 1862 in Bryan County. He married Mary Thompson on 19 October 1826 in Bulloch County.
- Rowan Futch, born 1803, died before 1850 in Bulloch County. He married Sarah Shuffield on 24 June 1824 in Bulloch County.
- Margaret Futch, born 1807 in Bulloch County, died before 1860 in Leon County, Florida, buried in the Gullie Cemetery.
- Solomon Futch, born 1808 in Statesboro, Bulloch County, died after 1880.

- Onesimus Futch, born 1770 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina, died ca 1847 in Bryan County, Georgia. Wife, Judith. From 1790 to 1820, Onemicus Futch resided in Bulloch County. Onemicus Futch deeded land to his son, Eli Futch, in 1834, Bryan County, 400 acres of land on the northside of the Canoochee River. Another deed, dated 30 July 1836 in Bryan County mentioned his wife, Judith Futch and had as witnesses, Joshua and Jesse Futch. Bryan County Deed Book B, page 45-46….”For and in consideration of the love, goodwill and affection to me by my well-beloved son, Jesse Futch of Bryan County, I give….cattle, furniture, etc. Signed, Judith Futch.” Witnesses: Jane E. and Nathaniel Bacon.
