    2. Abraham Gideon Ferguson b. 1841 Ga. He was a Confederate Soldier, served in Co. C, 22nd Ga. Infantry. He a. 11/25/1866 Mary E. Womack. Mary E. Womack Ferguson d. 11/13/1880. Abraham m. 2nd, Mary Jane McEver on 8/12/1883 (They had two children: Jessie who d. age 16 in 1901 and Robert Lee Ferguson who m. Ruby Burt.)

    1. Thomas Howell Ferguson m. Alice Puckett. They had two children: Pledger and a dau. who d. at early age.

           
    2. Lou Ella Ferguson m. John Wills and had ten children: son who d. at birth; Noah m. Leslie Siniard; Melvin m. Elizabeth Siniard; Gideon m. Gladys Abernathy; Rhoda m. John Grogan; Lula m. Frank Hay; Mattie m. Paul Dabbs; Bessie m. James Cantrell; Ruby m. John Grogan; Georgia Wills m. Thomas Grady Holland, the son of Harrison Ramsey "Tone" Holland and Dorothy Jones Holland.

Evelyn Atcheson; Gid m. Vera Wills; Ella Mae m. John Moore and Jo Etta Hunt m. T. Wood); Roy rn. Evie Bullock (two children: Marvin and Fulwood Hunt); Lewis C. m. Amanda Elizabeth Brown (two children: Vera m. Wayne Swanson; Celecia Hunt m. Marcus Finch); Emily Elizabeth Ferguson d. 1979 at age 106 m. Pleasant C. Cochran (they had three children: William Hill Cochran m. Celetia DuPree; Gideon Abraham Cochran, Sr. Minnie Chapman; John Edward Cochran m. Carrie Owens); William Noah Ferguson m.
