Thomas Fambrough, son of Thomas Fambrough, was born ca 1727 in Virginia, where he died in 1791. He married Mary Anderson.

• Anderson Fambrough. The earliest Fambrough in Greene County was Anderson Fambrough who purchased on 27 February 1794, for $100.00, 60 acres in Greene County bounded by Knapp and Bryant. Anderson Fambrough was born 10 January 1757 in Albemarle County, Virginia, and died 1815 in Clarke County, Georgia. His LWT dated 11/8/1815, probated 1/1/1816, Clarke County. Sons: Gadeal, John Anderson, Joshua, Jesse, James. Dau: Lucy. Wife: Elizabeth. To: three little children, Lucy, the youngest. To: Joshua and his four sisters: Nancy Thompson, Polly Thompson, Elizabeth Cole, Susannah Ward. Exrs: Wife and John Anderson Fambrough. Issue:

  Thomas Fambrough lived on a plantation of 400 acres located on Sandy Creek in Greene County, which he bequeathed to his daughter, Polly Thomas Fambrough (now Mrs. Jackson), which land adjoined widow Hall in Greene County. To his son, John S. Fambrough he left 2 lots of land, 200 acres, in Oglethorpe County. To his son, Zachariah, he left 202-1/2 acres of land in Fayette County, plus 80 acres adjoining the land "I gave to my son, John S. Fambrough." To his son, William, he left 160 acres. His LWT dated 21 June 1844, probated 11 January 1845, Greene County Will Book B, page 26.
