Eve of Richmond County
Captain Francis Edgeworth Eve of Augusta married Mary Elizabeth Lamkin. Elizabeth Lamkin, in her LWT dated 2/4/1821, probated 2/13/1822 in Columbia County, bequeathed to the heirs of her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Eve, the wife of Capt. Francis Edgeworth Eve. Her son-in-law, Francis Edgeworth Eve, was named as one of the executors. Francis was deceased by 1830, and his sons were listed in Richmond County.

- Joseph A. Eve was born 1806 in South Carolina, physician. On April 1, 1833 in Richmond County, he married Sarah G. Coombs, born 1811 Georgia. He was one of the founders of the medical department of the University of Georgia. Issue:
