Epps of Greene County

The 1830 Clarke County, Georgia Census lists the following Epps' families: William, Nathaniel, Thomas and William Epps.

William Epps was born 1770 in Virginia, and settled in Greene County, where he was found in 1850. He married Elizabeth, born 1800 in Virginia. Issue:

• William Epps born 1828, factory hand.
• Thomas Epps born 1831, factory hand.
• John Epps was born 1833, factory hand.
• Nathaniel Epps was born June 19 1836, died July 21, 1909 in Walton County, Georgia. Wife, Mary, was born November 1838. Issue:

  1. Eliza Epps, born 1861.
  2. Ella Epps, born 1868.

  Martha Epps was born 1840.

Nathaniel Epps, buried Jersey United Methodist church Cemetery, Jersey, Walton County, Georgia.
