On 14 May 1729, Jeremiah Dumas of the Parish of St. Paul, Hanover County, Virginia, deeded to Thomas Prosser of the same parish and county, for 50 pds., 325 acres in King William Parish, Goochland County, bounded by the land of John Pleasants, on the broad fork of Fine Creek, and land of Capt.
