Delk of Liberty County

Samuel Delk, the son of David Delk, was born ca 1780, died 1847 in Liberty County. He married Anna Delk (born 1783) on 16 March 1806 in Liberty County. She was a widow in 1850. Known issue:

• John Delk, born 3 May 1812 in Liberty County, died 14 December 1896 in Brooks, Georgia, buried in the Campground Church, Morven, Georgia. He married Jane Hodges (born 14 August 1814 in Liberty County, died 29 August 1887, buried in the Campground Church cemetery, Morven, Georgia), a daughter of William Hodges and his wife, Rachel Harriet (Clinton) Hodges on 6 March 1834 in Liberty County. Issue:
