Cornwell/Cornwall of North Carolina & Jasper & Jefferson Counties, Georgia

Elijah Cornwell, the son of George Cornwell, was born 1760 in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. He was found in Rowan County, North Carolina in 1790.[1] He removed to Jasper County, Georgia where he died on 14 November 1827.[2] He married Catherine Lavender in 1783. Issue:

Elijah Cornwell, born 1794 in North Carolina. He married Elizabeth Morris (born 1800 in Georgia) on 3 August 1817 in Jasper County. They were residents of Martin and Burney, Georgia.[3] Issue:[4]

2. William Cornwell, born 1836 in Georgia. Wife, Elmora, born 1840 in Georgia. They were residents of Martin and Burney in 1880.[6] Issue:

George W. Cornwell, born 8 March 1808 in Jefferson County, died 5 January 1863, married Eliza S. Lane on 2 January 1828 in Jasper County.
