II. Zadock Cook was born February 18, 1769 in North Carolina, died August 3, 1864, buried in the Jackson Cemetery, Oconee County. He married Betsy , born December 1 (or 10), 1773. They were listed on 1820-1850 Clarke County Census. Issue:

A. Nancy Cook (the first) was born August 9, 1790.

B. Rebecca Cook was born September 29, 1794, married Edward Conner on April 12, 1813 in Clarke County.

C. Mary Cook was born November 20, 1798, married William H. Dismukes on January 19, 1815 in Clarke County.

D. Purnal (Pernal) Cook was born June 4, 1801, married Nancy McCoy on September 21, 1820 in Clarke County.

E. Nathan Cook was born October 1, 1803.

F. Zadock Cook was born May 12, 1808.

G. William Cook was born June 24, 1810.

H. David Cook was born December 24, 1812. He married Elmira Browning on December 20, 1838. Issue:

1. William Francis Cook was born January 7, 1840, died July 17, 1862 in Virginia.

2. Sarah Jane Cook was born November 18, 1841, died March 16, 1917.

3. Mary Frances Cook was born December 24, 1843, died November 14, 1929. She married Mr. Camp.

4. Missoura Eveline Cook was born February 27, 1846, died July 3, 1920.
