John Clements was born 1725 in Augusta County, Virginia. removed from Virginia to Rowan County, North Carolina before the Revolutionary War where he died 19 Aug 1782, leaving a Last Will and Testament dated 1777 naming issue, all born in Augusta County, Virginia, via: Elizabeth, William, Roger and David. His wife was Elizabeth Keturah Thompson, born 1740 in Augusta County, Virginia, died in Montgomery County, Kentucky.
Roger Clements, son of John, was born 1 Jan 1762 in Augusta County, Virginia and removed with his parents to Rowan County, North Carolina where he enlisted as a soldier in the Revolutionary War. The pension was rejected, however, he stated that in 1781 he removed to Fayette County, Kentucky where he also enlisted in the war. His application was dated 8 September 1832 in Montgomery County, Kentucky. Roger was married to Hannah Hathaway on 25 Jan 1787 in Clark County, Kentucky. He died 31 Jul 1835 in Clark County, Kentucky and Hannah died 17 Jul 1846 in Boone County, Indiana. Issue:
