DAVIS B. BRASWELL was b. 1805, was a cotton dealer, and m. on 3/25/1828 Miss Mary Ann E. Grant, a South Carolinian, in Bibb Co. She was called "Charity and was b. 1812. Issue:

- John Braswell b. 5/17/1841. He was a Confederate Soldier in Co. A, 20 th Regt., Ga. Volunteers, Benning's Brigade of Virginia, and was wounded on 8/28/1863 at the Battle of New Market, Virginia, where he suffered wounds and the loss of a finger.
- Abner Braswell b. 1844.

DUKE W. BRASWELL was b. 1809 and m. Caroline S. Beall 5/6/1838 Bibb Co. He lived on 1 and drawn from the Georgia Land Lottery of 1821, 101-1/4 acres, in the 481st District of Bibb County.
Also an early pioneer settler to the county was TIMOTHY BRASWELL who m. 1/ 3/1829 Sophia Killingsworth.
