1. William Blackwell b. ca 1745 Culpepper Co., Virginia, d. 1818 on the Broad River area in Franklin County, Georgia.
   
   
2. John Blackwell b. ca 1755 in Culpepper County, Virginia, d. 12 Feb 1839 in Hickman Co., Tennessee. He lived in North Carolina in 1785, situating in Franklin Co., Ga. bef. 1797, subsequently going to Hickman Co., Tennessee where he was on 1820-30 Census. Franklin Co. DB TTT, P. 185, 7/30/1814, Jesse Blackwell Of Franklin Co. appoints his father, John Blackwell, Of Franklin Co., his atty, concerning a certain sum of money willed to him by his grandfather, Paul Anthony, decd, in Burke Co., N. C. John Blackwell had various land transactions in Franklin Co., acquiring 200 acres on Little Creek, 150 acres Tugalo River, the latter of which he sold in 1805 to Charles England. Issue:

   Jesse Blackwell, listed 1830-50 Hickman Co., Tenn. Census, b. 1785 in Franklin Co., Ga. His wife, Sarah, b. 1791 Ga. He m. Sarah Wilkins, 4/26/1810 Franklin Co., Ga. and had issue: Jackson, b. 1816 Tenn. m. 1842 Miry Rice, Lobelville, Tennessee; John, b. 1826 Hickman Co., Tennessee; and Robert, b. 1829 Hickman Co., Tennessee.

   1. Joseph Blackwell, b. 1785 N. C., d. 1858 in Arkansas. Joseph lived on lands adjoining John Blackwell on Nails Creek in Franklin Co., m. Mary, b. 1790, Ga., and had issue: Thomas, b. 1833 Hickman Co., Tennessee; Henry, b. 1836 Hickman Co., Tennessee.; Richard W., b. 1805 Franklin Co., Ga., lived in Town of Only, Hickman Co., Tenn. in 1820. Listed on 1840-50 Hickman Census. W., Louisa, b. 1815 Ga, by whom he had: Mary, b. 1837; Martha, b. 1839; Franklin, B. 1850, all Hickman Co. Tennessee.
3. Ambrose Blackwell, b. ca 1760 in Culepper Co., Virginia, d. 1814 in Jackson County, Georgia.
