Bealle/Beal/Beall

William Bealle came from Montgomery Co., Maryland, and settled in Columbia and Richmond Cos., Ga. Columbia deed 8/16/1794, Basil Jones and John Cobbs of Ga. to Leonard Magruder, Theodore Bealle and William Bealle of Maryland, sell 100,000 acres in Montgomery Co., Maryland.

I believe that this is the William Bealle who was b. ca 1733 in Prince George Co., Maryland, and was a son of Alexander Beall (1713-1759) and his wife, Sarah Magruder. They had a large family of children, viz: Ruth, Sarah, Sabina, Mary, Martha, Elizabeth, Anne Marie, Edward, Leonard, William Magruder, William, Ninian Magruder, Mordecai, Zachariah, Phillip, James Magruder, and Zepheniah Beall. However, the research is incomplete.

William Bealle made his LWT 1/28/1808, probated 9/1812 Columbia Co., m. Nancy, having issue as follows:

Bealle of Columbia Co. gives power of attorney to "my father, James Bealle of Montgomery Co., Maryland" Mrs. Jane Bealle was named in LWT of her son, Francis Shepherd dtd 5/13/1813, Probated 7/7/1813 Columbia Co. He also named his brothers, Thomas; and Robert Augustus Bealle, b. 1765 Maryland, d. 1833 Warren Co.. Ga. Southern Recorder 5/8/1833: "Major Robert A. Beall of Warren Co. died 1st.. .he was born in Maryland. and was in his 68th year... .migrated to Ga. over 20 years ago."
