Baldwin of Upson County

George Baldwin was born 1747 in Amelia County, Virginia, and died 1817. He married Rachel Atkins (1750-1836), and had issue:

1. Joseph Baldwin, born 28 March 1795 in Amelia County, Virginia, died 26 August 1838 in Upson County, Georgia. He married on 12 May 1819 in Amelia County, Mary Ward Scott (born 8 August 1796 in Amelia County, died 9 May 1872 in Meriwether County, Georgia, the daughter of George Scott and his wife, Elizabeth (Thompson). Issue:

1. George Scott Baldwin, born 22 June 1834 in Upson County, Georgia, died 16 March 1892 in Paris, Texas. He married on 7 December 1854 in Meriwether County, Frances Collier Parham. Issue:

1. Mary Elizabeth Baldwin, born 3 November 1855 in Meriwether County, died 6 June 1937 in Edmond, Oklahoma, married Jefferson Moore.
