Avret of Jefferson and Morgan Counties

Alexander Avret (Reverend) was born on 2/1/1788, died 8/27/1858. He marred Elizabeth Wallis Pharoah (born 1/1/1788, died 1/20/1854) on 1/24/1808. They were residents of Jefferson County in 1850.[1] Issue:

I. Christopher Columbus Avret, born 12/1/1808, married (1) Mary L. G. Allin on 11/28/1833 and (2) Levenia Murphey on 12/22/1836. Issue by 1st wife:

III. Jane Barnes, born 1/10/1813, died 9/30/1852, married on 1/8/1837 James Arriington (died 6/27/1848). Issue:

IV. Alexander Avret, born 5/2/1815, died 6/10/1887. He married Sarah Lucky on 12/5/1839.

V. Joseph Benson Avret, born 7/14/1818, married Amanda McNair on 1/17/1839.

VI. Elizabeth Avret, born 7/16/1820

VII. John Wesley Avret, born 6/18/1822, married Frances A. Arrington on 2/31/1850. Frances was born 1826 in Georgia; they were residents of Morgan County in 1880: Issue:
