JOSEPH ANSLEY of New Jersey and Warren County, Georgia

Thomas Ansley, thought to be the son of William and Rebecca Annesley, was born 20 March 1737 in Monmouth County, New Jersey and died 14 January 1809 in Warren County, Georgia. He was married to Rebecca Harrison (1732-1814). Issue: Miller, Nancy, Abel, James (1777-7/6/1756, William (1770-1859), Nancy (1776-1839), Rebecca (1775-1826), Joseph 1775-1838), Samuel (1765-1837) and Thomas, Jr. (1767-1837).

JOSEPH A. ANSLEY, son of Thomas (above), was born 2/5/1775 and died 9/21/1838 in Warren County, Georgia, married 1st on 17 July 1823 in Warren County, 12/6/1798 Mary Simpson (1/19/1778-8/13/1820). He married 2nd on 7/17/1823 in Richmond County, Georgia, Amasa Adkins (3/3/1796- 9/2/1838), the daughter of Daniel Adkins and Penelope Tyson Adkins of Virginia. Children:
