BENJAMIN ADAMS, SR. was born 19 December 1814, married on 25 December 1836 in Warren County to Elizabeth Evans (born 16 January 1821), the daughter of Jesse Evans and his wife, Elizabeth Smith of Warren Co., Ga. They were residents of Dearing, McDuffie County, 1880. Issue:[1]

II. SARAH E. ADAMS b. 5/13/1841.

III. BENJAMIN ADAMS, JR. 9/9/1849-4/3/1910 married 1/6/1867, Susan W. Bynum (10/28/1846-10/1912) the daughter of John Bynum. In 1880, they were residents of Dearing, McDuffie County. Issue: [2]

  2. Ada Adams 4/27/1869-1/10/1945 married on 7/25/1886 John Quincy Prather (12/1/1850-7/31/1920), Son: Forrest Prather.
