| THIRD GENERATION. Wesley Clements, born 1830, married ca 1854 in Muscogee County to Jane Smith, a daughter of Davis Smith of Monroe County. He was a physician and died during the War Between the States.

FOURTH GENERATION. Wesley Clements and Jane Smith had one daughter, Elizabeth Smith Clements (Lizzie)who was married to Joel Edgar Chambliss on April 4, 1885 in Monroe County, Georgia, died Nov 3, 1905 in Atlanta, Georgia. During the war, Jane Smith, wife of Wesley Clements, went to lived on the Davis Smith Plantation at Brent, Georgia. She married second, Thomas Young Brent, a soldier from Kentucky.
