Jennings of Edgefield County
James William Jennings married Julia Ann Inlow, born 6 Dec 1826, died 17 Dec 1893, daughter of John Inlow, Jr. (1787-1849) and wife, Rachel Walton (1786-1840). They resided in Edgefield County near Saluda County and removed to Dawson, Georgia in 1850. Issue:Note: There is a William Jennings, Sr. who died October 1842. His wife was Eleanor and his sons Tyre, Hastings, Lot, William and Philip. Daughters were Rachael, Eleanor F. and some older children who were not named in the will. Exrs: Son, John Jennings and son-in-law, William Etheridge.

- Mansfield Emulous Jennings was born 4 Nov 1856 in Edgefield County, South Carolina. He was married to Catherine Jeanette Smith on 6 Sept 1880 and resided in Terrell County, Georgi; died 5 Feb 1948. Catherine was born 7 Oct 1857 in Lee County, Georgia, died 24 Dec 1937, and was a daughter of James Madisonn Smith and Nancy Cowart Smith.
