Pierre Bowdoin was born 1640 in Larochelle, France and died 12 September 1706 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was married in Boston in 1674 to Elizabeth Fixe (1643-8/18/1720). Known issue: John, James, Elizabeth and Mary.

John Bowdoin, son of Pierre, was born 1674 in La Rochelle, France and died 16 April 1717 in Northampton County, Virginia. He was married to Susannah Stockley, a daughter of William Stockley. Their known issue: Peter (1697-1745), John (1700-1739), Susannah (born 1705) and Mary (born 1707).

John Bowdoin, son of John (above), was born 1700/1705 in Northampton County, Virginia and died 1739 in Somerset County, Maryland. Wife, Elizabeth Folsom. Known issue: Richard, Robert, William and John.

William Bowdoin, son of John, was born 1720/1725 in Delmarva, Maryland and died 1774 in Granville County, North Carolina. He was married to Elizabeth Travis, a daughter of Simeon Travis. Known issue: John, Travis, Sarah and William.

William Bowdoin, son of William, was born 1740 in Delmarva, Maryland, died 1 February 1821 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. He married Elizabeth Macon. Issue:
