John Parker, Revolutionary War Soldier, was born 1773 in North Carolina. He removed to Georgia and first located in Putnam County, Georgia; by 1830, he was a resident of Monroe County where he apparently died. He was known to be of Irish descent. Issue:
Christopher Parker was born 1806 in North Carolina, died June 3, 1893. He married Sallie Stroud (born 1813). and had twelve children:
- William H. Parker, planter at Strouds, Monroe County, was born March 29, 1832 in Monroe County. He married Miss Nancy, daughter of Eleazor and Mary Adams on November 11, 1853 in Monroe County. They lived on a plantation of 1,000 acres located eleven miles from Forsyth, with 500 acres in cultivation, producing 150 bales of cotton. . They had two children:

- Eunice Parker married E. C. Elder, lived Barnesville, Pike County. They had five children:
- William Elder.
- George Elder.
- Samuel Elder.
- Eunice Elder.
- John Elder.
- Seaton G. Parker was born 1833.
- Frances Parker was born 1838, married Joseph Dennis, resided in Arkansas.
- Sarah Parker was born 1840, married James Rodney, lived Roanoke, Alabama.
- Littleberry Parker was born 1836.
- Mary Parker was born 1842, married Fletcher Owens, lived in Pike County, Alabama.
- Amanda Parker married Mr. Fambro, lived in Atlanta.
- Levi Parker was born 1844, enlisted in the Confederate Army and was killed in Pickett's famous charge, Gettysburg.
- John Parker was born 1848.
- Christopher Parker, lived in Arkansas.
- Owen Parker, lived in Arkansas.
- Sallie Parker.
- Infant child died in 1859.
