William Neeley was born ca 1710 and died on the North Fork of Flat River in Caswell County, North Carolina. William Neely and his wife, Eleanor settled in Caswell County a long time before the Revolutionary War. William's Last Will and Testament was dated 1783. Issue:
- Joseph Neeley, born 5 Sep 1759 in Orange County, North Carolina, died 12 May 1834 in Sullivan County, Indiana, buried in the Antioch Cemetery.
- John Neeley, born 1745/1749, died 24 May 1815 in Orange County, North Carolina.
- Thomas Neeley, born ca 1750, died after 1800.
- Samuel Neeley, born ca 1754 in Orange County, North Carolina, died in Tennessee.
- Jacob Neeley was born ca 1762 in Orange County, North Carolina and died 16 Jul 1843 in Rankin County, Mississippi, buried 7 miles east of the town of Jackson. Wife, Rebecca.
- Mary Neeley, born 1762/1764 in Orange County, North Carolina, died 1830 in Marion, Roane County, Tennessee; married Pryor.
