• Dennis McClendon, Sr. was born 1718 in Perquimans County, Carolina, died 1790 in Anson County, North Carolina. He married in 1742 in Cumberland County, North Carolina, Mary Ingram. Issue:
  1. Ezekiel McClendon. He married Mary Dunn.
  2. Thomas McClendon was born 1743 in Edinburg, Scotland, and died 1798 in Henry County, Georgia. During the American Revolution, he was a resident of Montgomery County, North Carolina. He married Sarah Cooper, who died in Alabama. Issue:
